Fiberglass and more!

Zell G of Salem, Oregon has decided to focus on his Whitman Tailwind project and has handed off his cache of Coot parts to me.

The easy 2-run was well worth the cost of gas and overnight RV parking fees for my 4-year-old daughter and me.

The major bits:  There is a bunch more to comb through, but these were the key treasures.  A glass tail cone, tail-feather tips, a formed nosegear strut, and an instrument panel assembly.

Sadly , the "instruments and avionics" are nothing more inkjet wishful thinking.

Also shown are some of the tail-tube bracing parts that came with the stash.

The great crate of mysteries and wonders:  What lies within?  Well, for starters, there's a finished set of wing spars and spar straps; available for the asking (see the "need parts?" section of this site).

I'll be hanging onto the wing ribs and nose ribs, but I might part with the electrics gear retraction components.

More pictures and descriptions coming after I get a chance to uncrate.  For now, it's all better off as is; safe and sound wrapped in Visquene.
